CATTLE DECAPITATION have taken to the road for the "30 Years of Inhumanity" spring North American tour, celebrating three decades as one of extreme metal's most consistently vital and progressive acts. The tour runs through May 2026, with dates across the U.S. and Canada.

The band formed in San Diego in 1996 under the name Cattle Decapitation, initially as a side project focused on goregrind before evolving into something far more sophisticated. Their trajectory from the raw early albums like Homovore (2000) to the genre-defying ambition of The Anthropocene Extinction (2015) and Death Atlas (2019) is one of metal's great creative arcs. Death Atlas in particular was widely acclaimed as one of the best metal albums of its decade, with Travis Ryan's harrowing dual vocal approach — brutal lows alongside a devastating melodic falsetto — defining a new direction for the genre.

Travis Ryan and guitarist Josh Elmore remain the band's core, with the current lineup demonstrating the tightest playing of the band's career. The "30 Years of Inhumanity" set is expected to span the full breadth of the band's catalog, with deep cuts alongside the modern classics.

CATTLE DECAPITATION are also confirmed for several major festivals in 2026, including Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple. The band is currently writing new material, with Ryan indicating a new album is expected in late 2026 or 2027.

Ticket information is available at the band's official website.
