Swiss technical thrash legends CORONER have wrapped their 15-date "Dissonance Over The West" North American tour to enthusiastic reviews, confirming that their 2025 comeback was no fluke. The run, which launched February 4 in Las Vegas with HEATHEN as support, marked CORONER's first extensive North American touring in decades and exceeded all expectations in terms of both attendance and performance quality.

The shows supported their 2025 album "Dissonance Theory" via Century Media Records — their first studio album since 1993's "Grin," a gap of over 30 years. The record stunned the thrash metal world upon release, proving that vocalist/guitarist Tommy T. Baron, bassist Marky Edelmann, and drummer Marquis Marky had lost none of their technical virtuosity or compositional sophistication during the extended hiatus. "Dissonance Theory" earned widespread acclaim for its intricate arrangements, jazz-influenced passages, and the progressive complexity that always set CORONER apart from their thrash contemporaries.

Fans praised the band's tight and technically proficient live performances, with many noting they sounded even sharper than their classic recordings. Social media was flooded with glowing reviews from concertgoers who described the shows as revelatory experiences. Setlists drew heavily from the new album while incorporating career staples like "Die By My Hand," "Metamorphosis," "Semtex Revolution," and the prog-thrash epic "No Need to Be Human."

HEATHEN proved an excellent touring partner, with their Bay Area thrash pedigree providing the perfect complement to CORONER's more cerebral approach. The success of this North American run has reportedly prompted discussions about a European tour in fall 2026, which would mark CORONER's first European headline dates since their original run in the early 1990s.
