Italian symphonic death metal masters FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE have announced a North American headlining tour running April 21 through May 18, 2026, promising one of the most technically demanding and visually spectacular live packages of the spring touring season. Texas death metal crushers FROZEN SOUL, whose punishing blend of old-school death metal and HM-2-driven heaviness has earned them a rapidly growing and fiercely loyal fanbase, will serve as direct support across all 22 dates.
The tour marks FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE's first extensive U.S. run since their critically acclaimed 2024 album "Opera," which pushed the boundaries of their already ambitious fusion of brutal death metal and classical orchestration to extraordinary new heights. The album earned widespread praise from both extreme metal purists and progressive music enthusiasts for its incorporation of full operatic vocal arrangements alongside the band's trademark blast beats, intricate neoclassical guitar work, and sweeping symphonic passages. Frontman and drummer Francesco Paoli delivered some of the most demanding vocal performances of his career on the record.
The 22-date run will hit major markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Denver, and Seattle, with additional stops in secondary markets that FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE have not visited in previous North American touring cycles. The band has promised a significantly enhanced live production for this tour, incorporating elements of the theatrical staging that has become their international signature — including Renaissance-era costumes, coordinated visual choreography, and dramatic lighting design that complements their unique aesthetic of extreme metal meeting high culture.
FROZEN SOUL, hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, have established themselves as one of the most exciting and promising young bands in the American death metal underground. Their bone-crushing sound draws obvious comparisons to titans like BOLT THROWER and OBITUARY while maintaining a distinct identity rooted in the Texas metal tradition. Tickets go on general sale March 7 through all major ticketing platforms, with VIP meet-and-greet packages available for select dates throughout the run.
