UK doom metal outfit GODTHRYMM have announced their third studio album, 'Projections', set for release on May 29 via Profound Lore Records. The announcement arrives alongside the premiere of lead single and video "Truth In My Own," described as "the most fist-clenching and headbanging song on the album." The video was directed by Ash Pears.

'Projections' completes the band's "Visions" trilogy, which began with their acclaimed 2020 debut 'Reflections' and continued with the critically praised 2023 sophomore effort 'Distortions.' With this third chapter, GODTHRYMM present their most layered, complex, and aggressive record yet, while maintaining the colossal, emotionally charged heavy doom backbone that has defined their sound.

The band's lineup has expanded for this release: longtime members Hamish Glencross (vocals, guitars; ex-MY DYING BRIDE) and Shaun Taylor-Steels (drums; ex-MY DYING BRIDE, ex-ANATHEMA) are joined by keyboardist and co-vocalist Catherine Glencross, bassist Bob Crolla, and new second guitarist Kris McLaughlin.

'Projections' features a remarkable array of guest appearances: former MY DYING BRIDE vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe reunites with his ex-bandmates Glencross and Taylor-Steels on "Endure My Skin," while Adie Bailey (English Dogs) and Jay Walsh (Xentrix) contribute to "Trenches Deep."

Hamish Glencross stated: "This record closes the trilogy but it opens everything else. It is heavier, wider, and darker than anything we've done before."

'Projections' is available for pre-order now via Profound Lore Records.
