HATEBREED to Headline 2026 Summer Slaughter Tour with New Album Incoming

HATEBREED have been confirmed as headliners of the 2026 Summer Slaughter tour, one of North America's premier annual extreme metal touring packages. The run covers July 2–24, hitting major markets across the United States and Canada, with DEVOURMENT, INCANTATION (select dates), Snuffed on Sight, Face Yourself, and Balmora rounding out the bill.

The announcement came paired with confirmation from guitarist Frank Novinec that the band's new studio album is complete and due for release ahead of the tour. No title, label, or specific release date has been announced, but Novinec described the material as "the most aggressive and direct record we've made since Supremacy," a promising indicator for a band that has occasionally courted a more melodic hard rock sound in recent years.

HATEBREED, formed in New Haven, Connecticut in 1994, remain one of hardcore-infused metal's defining institutions. Albums like Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire (1997), Perseverance (2002), and Supremacy (2006) set a template for metallic hardcore that has influenced entire generations of bands across the metalcore, hardcore, and groove metal scenes. Their live show — relentless, punishing, and built around collective energy — remains one of the most reliable in extreme music.

The Summer Slaughter tour has historically been one of the most important platforms for underground and mid-tier extreme metal acts in North America, and HATEBREED's headlining position will draw a significant crowd across all dates.
