IRON MAIDEN have released the official trailer for their authorized documentary Burning Ambition, with tickets going on sale the same day ahead of the film's worldwide theatrical premiere on May 7, 2026 via Trafalgar Releasing.

The documentary was directed by MALCOLM VENVILLE (Churchill at War) and produced by DOMINIC FREEMAN (Spirits in the Forest, the DEPECHE MODE film). It chronicles the band's extraordinary five-decade journey from their 1975 formation in East London's Leytonstone to their status as one of the most successful and enduring acts in the history of heavy metal.

The film features on-camera interviews with all six current members — STEVE HARRIS, BRUCE DICKINSON, DAVE MURRAY, ADRIAN SMITH, NICKO McBRAIN, and JANICK GERS — alongside manager ROD SMALLWOOD and a remarkable array of famous admirers: LARS ULRICH (METALLICA), rapper CHUCK D (PUBLIC ENEMY), and actor JAVIER BARDEM. Key art was designed by ALBERT "AKIRANT" QUIRANTES.

The release is timed to coincide with MAIDEN's ongoing "Run For Your Lives" world tour, which includes the landmark EddFest at Knebworth Park on July 11, 2026. The band has sold more than 100 million records globally and performed nearly 2,500 concerts across 64 countries. Ticket links for the May 7 screening are now live through the Trafalgar Releasing website.
