General ticket on-sale has begun for one of the summer's most anticipated metal touring packages: the KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and MACHINE HEAD co-headlining tour, running June 3 through June 27 across the United States. IRON REAGAN and HAVOK round out a stacked support bill that spans metalcore, groove metal, thrash, and crossover — offering something for virtually every corner of the heavy music spectrum.
Early reports suggest overwhelming demand, with several dates in major markets approaching sold-out status within the first hours of general sale. The Detroit opener on June 3 reportedly sold through 80% of available tickets during the presale alone. The tour represents the first-ever pairing of these two heavyweights — KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, the metalcore pioneers whose dual-vocalist legacy (Howard Jones and Jesse Leach) has defined the genre, and MACHINE HEAD, Robb Flynn's groove metal institution that has been a force since 1991.
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE are riding high on the success of their 2025 album "This Consequence," which yielded a top-3 Active Rock single with "I Believe" and landed the band on the covers of Revolver and Outburn. Jesse Leach's vocal performance on the album has been hailed as some of his finest work since rejoining the band in 2012. MACHINE HEAD, meanwhile, continue to draw massive crowds on the strength of their catalog — from "Burn My Eyes" through "The Blackening" and beyond — and Robb Flynn's incendiary stage presence. The tour also includes appearances at Milwaukee Metal Fest and DC Warped Tour Weekend, further cementing its status as a must-see summer event.
