Post-metal pioneers NEUROSIS have made a stunning comeback with the surprise release of An Undying Love For A Burning World — their first studio album since going on indefinite hiatus in 2022. The return arrives with a significant lineup change: Aaron Turner, former vocalist and guitarist of ISIS, and also known for OLD MAN GLOOM and SUMAC, has joined as the group's new frontman.

The original band went quiet following a public reckoning involving former frontman Scott Kelly. The reconstituted NEUROSIS wasted no time making their intentions clear: An Undying Love For A Burning World is a sprawling, meditative slab of heavy music that honors the band's legacy while pushing into new emotional and sonic territory.

Turner's voice — weathered, commanding, and unmistakably his own — proves a worthy fit for the band's vast sonic architecture. His experience in ISIS and SUMAC, both known for similarly expansive and crushing heaviness, means the transition feels organic rather than forced. Long-time members Steve Von Till and the core rhythm section anchor the new lineup with familiar intensity.

The album is available now digitally, with physical formats to follow.
