Tickets for SPIRITBOX's "Tsunami Sea UK + EU Tour" with JINJER and DYING WISH are selling briskly following their February 27 on-sale date, with several venues already approaching full capacity just days after tickets became available to the general public. The 18-date run from September 12 in Glasgow to October 9 in Paris marks SPIRITBOX's biggest European headline tour to date, hitting arenas and major venues across the UK, Germany, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Scandinavia, and additional territories — a significant and well-deserved step up from the theater-sized venues the Canadian progressive metalcore act played on their previous European visits.
SPIRITBOX, fronted by the extraordinarily talented vocalist Courtney LaPlante alongside guitarist and producer Mike Stringer, have experienced a meteoric rise since the release of their debut full-length album "Eternal Blue" in 2021, which shattered all expectations for a modern metal band and spawned viral hits like "Holy Roller" and the emotionally devastating ballad "Constance." Their follow-up "The Fear of Fear" EP in 2023 and relentless subsequent touring across multiple continents cemented their status as one of the most important and creatively vital bands in contemporary heavy music.
The addition of Ukrainian-born metallers JINJER as special guests has proven to be a massive and inspired draw, particularly in Eastern European markets where the band commands an exceptionally devoted and passionate following. JINJER, led by the extraordinarily versatile vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk — whose ability to shift seamlessly between guttural death growls and soaring clean vocals within a single phrase has become legendary — have become one of the most celebrated metal acts to emerge from Ukraine. Their genre-defying blend of progressive metal, groove, djent, and elements of folk and jazz has earned widespread international acclaim.
DYING WISH, the Portland-based metalcore outfit fronted by the formidable vocalist Emma Beare, round out the package with their visceral blend of hardcore punk aggression, melodic death metal influence, and cathartic emotional intensity. The tour represents a remarkable showcase of modern metal's most dynamic and powerful voices, with three bands led by compelling female vocalists each bringing a distinctly different but equally commanding presence to the stage every night.
