TWISTED SISTER have announced a surprising return to the stage with former SKID ROW vocalist Sebastian Bach fronting the band for "a handful of select dates this fall." The announcement was made on March 3 by guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda.

The move comes after longtime frontman Dee Snider announced his retirement from touring in February, citing a mounting list of health issues including arthritis, a hip replacement, a knee injury, and a heart condition. Rather than letting the band fade away, the remaining members looked for a vocalist who could do justice to their catalog of anthems.

Snider himself has been nothing but supportive of the decision. "I love Sebastian Bach! He has my full blessing," Snider said of the arrangement. Bach reciprocated the sentiment, confirming that he and Snider were both "teary-eyed" during the conversation about the plan. "I have Dee's full blessing," Bach told fans, emphasizing the mutual respect between the two vocalists.

Sebastian Bach's powerful, high-range vocal style makes him a natural fit for TWISTED SISTER's catalog of party anthems and heavy metal staples like "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock." The Canadian-born singer has maintained an active solo career and touring schedule, and representatives have confirmed that the TWISTED SISTER dates will not interfere with Bach's existing solo commitments.

Specific tour dates and venues have not yet been announced, but the band promised more details soon. For fans of classic 1980s metal, the combination of TWISTED SISTER's legendary stage show with Bach's electrifying vocal presence promises to be one of the most talked-about live events of the year.
