Cambridge, UK progressive metalcore quartet FAR FROM REFUGE have announced their debut full-length album Pillars of Language, due June 26, 2026. The record blends progressive metal, metalcore, and melodic death metal into a single sci-fi concept narrative nearly a decade in the making.
Lead single "Circuits II: Timelines" is out now, expanding the band's existing "cosmic interloper" storyline across the full album's arc. Vocalist Suran Jayathilaka describes the record as "something much bigger" than anything the band has done before.
Pillars of Language was produced, mixed, and mastered by Oz Craggs at Hidden Track Studios, with artwork by True Spilt Milk. FAR FROM REFUGE are multiple NMG Award winners in the Best Artist: Rock/Heavy categories.
