ALEYA Return With New Single 'Sapphire Skies'

20 April 2026  ·  New Music

North West England metalcore act ALEYA have returned with their new single 'Sapphire Skies', independently released on 10 April 2026 — the first in a run of singles leading to their forthcoming EP.

The track fuses seismic guitar riffs, pounding rhythmic grooves and intense dynamic shifts with vocals that span melodic phrasings, guttural roars and anthemic hooks. Synth textures add a fiercely modern edge to the band's metalcore foundation. Lyrically, 'Sapphire Skies' targets those who spread insidious world views for personal agenda. Drawing comparisons to MOTIONLESS IN WHITE, BEARTOOTH, WHILE SHE SLEEPS, WE CAME AS ROMANS and MEMPHIS MAY FIRE, ALEYA balance underground integrity with broad appeal.

Produced by Dan Fox and mixed by James Pinder at Treehouse Studios (UK). The band — Tom Evans (vocals), Sam Lawson (guitars), Mike Washington (bass) and James Wright (drums) — has previously earned support from Kerrang! Radio and BBC Radio 1, and shared stages with OCEANS ATE ALASKA and EXIST IMMORTAL among others.
