AVERTAT — the new death-doom project of former DÉCEMBRE NOIR mastermind Sebastian Görlach — have released "Last Request", the third single from their forthcoming debut album Dead End Life. Görlach departed DÉCEMBRE NOIR in spring 2024 and founded AVERTAT as a return to the atmospheric, emotionally raw songwriting that defined his earlier work. The debut blends melodic death metal with crushing doom across six tracks dealing with violence, trauma, and the darkest corners of human nature. A key element is vocalist Enrico Langguth, whose expressive delivery contrasts with Görlach's deep growls to powerful effect. Dead End Life drops April 24th digitally and May 29th on CD.
