Damnation Festival has announced six major additions to its 2026 lineup, and the result is one of the strongest bills in the event's history. The festival, taking place November 7-8 at BEC Arena in Manchester, has confirmed CULT OF LUNA as Saturday night headliners and SATYRICON — in a UK-exclusive performance — as Sunday night headliners.
Also added to the bill are CARCASS, TRIPTYKON, IGORRR, and CROWBAR, joining previously announced acts HEALTH, WALLS OF JERICHO, EYEHATEGOD, and WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM.
Festival organiser Gavin McInally was blunt about the calibre of the additions: "All six of these bands could headline Damnation without raising an eyebrow, so to have them all play the same year is obscene."
With over half of tickets already sold and a further 19 bands still to be revealed, the festival looks set to sell out well in advance of the November dates. SATYRICON's UK-exclusive billing makes the event a particularly rare opportunity for British and European fans of the Norwegian black metal veterans.
Damnation Festival has operated annually in Leeds and Manchester since 2005, specialising in progressive, post-metal, and extreme metal.
