Swedish melodic death metal icons DARK TRANQUILLITY and progressive metal outfit SOEN are currently co-headlining the Scandinavian Heavy Arts Tour across North America, with Andorran prog-metallers PERSEFONE providing direct support. The run visits major markets from coast to coast through April.
DARK TRANQUILLITY are touring behind Endtime Signals, their latest studio album and one of the most critically praised entries in the band's three-decade discography. Frontman Mikael Stanne and the Gothenburg veterans continue to define the melodic death metal blueprint that has influenced countless bands worldwide.
SOEN released Reliance in January 2026 via Silver Lining Music. The Stockholm-based quintet — featuring former OPETH drummer Martin Lopez alongside vocalist Joel Ekelöf — blends progressive rock and heavy metal with introspective lyricism, building on the acclaim of their previous albums Atlantis and Memorial.
PERSEFONE from Andorra round out the bill with their own brand of technically sophisticated, spiritually rich progressive metal — making this one of the most intellectually rewarding heavy tours to hit North America this spring.
