Swedish gothic doom metal band DRACONIAN have released "Misantrophe River", the second single from their upcoming full-length In Somnolent Ruin, out May 8, 2026 via Napalm Records. The track explores alienation and the search for direction when moving against the current. It follows the first single "Cold Heavens". The nine-track album is set to be one of the most personal records in the band's career — a dreamlike journey driven by the poetic lyricism of vocalist Anders Jacobsson. In Somnolent Ruin also marks the return of Lisa Johansson, who fronted DRACONIAN on their first five albums. Watch the official video below.
