Bay Area thrash metal legends EXODUS have released their thirteenth studio album, Goliath, via Napalm Records. Released March 20, the album marks the return of vocalist Rob Dukes — who fronted the band from 2005 to 2014 — reuniting him with guitarist Gary Holt and the rest of the current lineup for what is already generating considerable discussion in the thrash community.

Dukes's return brings a raw, aggressive edge that immediately distinguishes Goliath from the Steve Souza-era albums that preceded it. His delivery has always been direct and uncompromising, and the new material plays directly to those strengths. Three singles preceded the album: "3111" (January), the title track "Goliath" (February), and "Promise You This" (March), each one confirming that the band are fully energized.

Goliath spans ten tracks of high-velocity thrash with the classic EXODUS hallmarks: relentlessly propulsive rhythms, razor-sharp riffing from Holt, and lyrics that don't pull punches. EXODUS were among the founding acts of the Bay Area thrash movement alongside METALLICA, SLAYER, and MEGADETH, and after more than four decades, Goliath demonstrates they are still one of the genre's most ferocious live forces.

The album is available now via Napalm Records on all platforms.
