Former QUEENSRŸCHE vocalist Geoff Tate has shared a full fan-filmed recording of his April 15 concert at A38 Hajó in Budapest, Hungary, offering a complete document of his Spring 2026 European tour performance. The 20-song setlist drew exclusively from the QUEENSRŸCHE catalog, including classics such as "Revolution Calling", "Operation: Mindcrime", "Silent Lucidity", and "Queen Of The Reich".

The Budapest release arrives ahead of growing excitement surrounding Tate's forthcoming album, 'Operation: Mindcrime III', due May 3, 2026. The record marks the third installment in his long-running conceptual saga and takes a bold new narrative perspective: unlike the original albums told from protagonist Nikki's point of view, this chapter is narrated through the eyes of the antagonist, Dr. X.

"It's X's perspective," Tate explained. "It's happening in time at the same time as 'Mindcrime I'." The 13-song album was recorded across a remarkable array of locations — hotel rooms, concert venues, a church, and an Italian castle — and co-produced by John Moyer, the bassist of Disturbed.

Tate described the album's sonic character: "It's a wonderful headphone album... the sound, especially of the rhythm section — oh, it's phenomenal." His process remains narrative-first: "I sort of look at it as a story, and I write the story out first of what is happening, and then I kind of dissect it and create chapters, and those chapters turn into songs."

With a European tour in full swing and a highly anticipated concept album on the way, Tate remains one of progressive metal's most consistently active figures.
