IRON MAIDEN have released a new official trailer for their upcoming feature documentary Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition, heading to theaters worldwide for a limited time beginning May 7, 2026. Tickets are on sale now.

Directed by Malcolm Venville (Churchill At War) and produced by Dominic Freeman (Spirits In The Forest – A Depeche Mode Film), the documentary chronicles the band's extraordinary five-decade journey from the streets of East London to the biggest stages on the planet. Joining the band members themselves are on-camera reflections from Javier Bardem, Lars Ulrich of METALLICA, and Chuck D of PUBLIC ENEMY — each speaking to IRON MAIDEN's profound influence on music, culture, and generations of fans worldwide.

Formed in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris, IRON MAIDEN have released 17 studio albums, sold over 100 million records, and performed nearly 2,500 concerts across 64 countries. The documentary arrives as the band continues its two-year "Run For Your Lives" world tour — a sprawling celebration of the band's 50th anniversary that included a triumphant homecoming at London Stadium.

Among the tour highlights this year is EddFest, a unique festival event at historic Knebworth Park in England on July 11, 2026, as part of over 50 shows planned worldwide.
