LYNCH MOB, the veteran heavy metal outfit led by former DOKKEN guitarist George Lynch, has announced a new live album titled 'The Final Ride', scheduled for release on May 29, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl. The record will be available in multiple formats: CD/DVD, Blu-ray, and LP.

The announcement follows the band's ninth studio album, 'Dancing With The Devil' (November 2025), which was positioned as their final studio effort. The live record was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Chuck Alkazian at Pearl Sound Studios. The 12-track setlist spans 35 years of LYNCH MOB history and also features three tracks from George Lynch's DOKKEN era — a tribute to the guitarist's storied career before founding LYNCH MOB in 1990.

The performance features Lynch alongside vocalist Gabriel Colón, bassist Jaron Gulino, and drummer Jimmy D'Anda. Lynch described the recording in characteristically direct terms: "Captured loud, raw, and exactly how it was meant to be heard, this is Lynch Mob firing on all cylinders."

In a classic rock contradiction, Lynch acknowledged that despite the farewell framing, the band has continued touring with a revamped lineup — including vocalist Andrew Freeman and drummer Brian Tichy — after booking momentum built following their retirement announcement. Whatever the future holds, 'The Final Ride' stands as a testament to the band's enduring ability to deliver scorching live heavy metal.

Frontiers Music Srl has become a reliable home for classic-era metal acts, and LYNCH MOB's record joins a growing catalog of essential archival live documents from the genre's golden era.
