German power metal veterans MASTERPLAN have shared a new visualizer for "Electric Nights," the third single from their forthcoming studio album "Metalmorphosis," due out on June 26, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl.

The new album marks the band's first studio effort since 2013's "Novum Initium" — a thirteen-year gap. Founding guitarist Roland Grapow described "Electric Nights" as a "road anthem — loud, fast, and born for life on tour," encapsulating the classic heavy metal spirit that defined the album's recording process.

The 10-track "Metalmorphosis" features contributions from Grapow and keyboard player Axel Mackenrott, alongside guest collaborators from Slovakia and Sweden. Grapow explained that the band consciously moved away from progressive and commercial elements, seeking something "more direct" and rooted in metal's heavier traditions — while preserving the characteristic MASTERPLAN sound.

MASTERPLAN was founded in 2001 by Grapow and drummer Uli Kusch following their departures from HELLOWEEN, quickly establishing itself as a cornerstone act in European power metal. For this release, the band signed with Frontiers Music Srl.

A European headline tour supporting "Metalmorphosis" launched on April 12, 2026 and is currently underway. The album is available for pre-order now.
