MEGADETH have released the official pro-shot video of their historic performance of "Ride The Lightning," filmed during the band's April 27 concert at Movistar Arena in Bogota, Colombia.

The performance marks a historic moment: "Ride The Lightning" is a METALLICA song that MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine co-wrote before his acrimonious departure from that band in 1983. In nearly four decades of MEGADETH shows, the song had never appeared in their setlist — until last week.

Mustaine was credited as a co-writer on "Ride The Lightning," the title track of METALLICA's 1984 album, but received neither royalties nor public recognition for years. He has since secured a songwriting credit and continues to speak about his early METALLICA compositions.

The Bogota crowd's reaction was electric, with thousands singing along to a song they know through METALLICA but hearing it delivered by its original co-author. The official video captures the full intensity of the moment in professional-quality footage.

MEGADETH are currently on the South American leg of their world tour in support of The Sick, The Dying... And The Dead!
