NEUROSIS released their twelfth studio album, An Undying Love for a Burning World, as an unannounced surprise drop on March 20 via the band's own Neurot Recordings — their first new material in ten years and one of the most significant events in heavy music so far this year. There were no singles, no press campaigns, no advance notice: the record simply appeared.

The most striking development is the addition of Aaron Turner — frontman of the now-defunct ISIS and founder of Sargent House Records — as a full member of NEUROSIS, contributing vocals and guitar alongside core members Steve Von Till, Scott Kelly, and Noah Landis. Turner's inclusion brings together two of post-metal's most visionary architects in a single band for the first time.

An Undying Love for a Burning World was recorded at Studio Litho in Seattle and mixed at Antisleep Audio in Oakland. Its eight tracks address isolation, environmental collapse, anxiety, and the search for meaning in a fragmented world — territory NEUROSIS have always navigated with uncommon depth. The album has received near-universal critical acclaim, landing on year-best lists before the month of release had even ended.

The record is available now via Neurot Recordings on all digital platforms, CD, and vinyl.
