TESTAMENT have released an official mini-documentary chronicling the opening show of their "Thrash Of The Titans" U.S. leg, which ran from March 14 in Portland, Oregon through April 10 in Berkeley, California. The headlining run also featured fellow thrash legends OVERKILL and DESTRUCTION on all dates.
The behind-the-scenes film documents the atmosphere and energy surrounding the tour's launch, giving fans a look at what went into one of the year's most anticipated thrash packages. The three bands — each representing a different corner of the global thrash scene — drew strong crowds across the entire run.
The tour supported TESTAMENT's latest album, "Para Bellum", released in October 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records. The record marks the first TESTAMENT album to feature drummer Chris Dovas, who joined the band in 2023, and was mixed by Jens Bogren. It stands as one of the strongest entries in the band's catalog.
Adding to the excitement, TESTAMENT also confirmed that a fully remastered edition of their 1989 landmark album "Practice What You Preach" will arrive on May 8, 2026. The remaster, handled by Justin Shturtz, features new artwork, a 20-page booklet packed with archival photos and updated liner notes, and a strictly limited vinyl edition of just 1,250 copies worldwide.
With "Para Bellum" earning near-universal praise and a major classic reissue on the horizon, TESTAMENT are firmly reminding the metal world why they've remained one of the genre's most essential acts for over four decades.
