TODOMAL Announce Third Album 'Graveyards of Joy' on Season of Mist, Share Lead Single

TODOMAL have announced "Graveyards of Joy," their third studio album and first release for Season of Mist, arriving July 3, 2026. The record closes a trilogy that the atmospheric doom metal band launched in 2021 with "Ultracrepidarian" and deepened in 2023 with "A Greater Good."

To mark the announcement, the band have released a music video for the album's lead single "Point of Coalescence." The track is a fitting introduction to the record: dense, dark and uncompromising, dealing in shame, violence and the slow erosion of consciousness, with surreal and cosmic horror imagery that lends it an unsettling, almost theatrical edge.

Musically, "Graveyards of Joy" channels grief, anger and hard-won hope through the slow-burning weight of classic doom and dramatic rock. Vast Hammond organ passages give way to desolate folk; strings with a Morriconian openness sit alongside heavy, anchoring riffs. The album draws on a wide range of influences — from the orchestral sweep of Vangelis and the warmth of DEEP PURPLE to the dramatic sensibility of Tindersticks and Nick Cave — without sacrificing the solemnity that defines TODOMAL.

The band will tour Europe this summer with doom veterans EVOKEN (July 30 – August 10), with stops in Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, Rotterdam and Prague, among others. Festival appearances include Resurrection Fest (July 4, Viveiro, Spain), Tolminator Fest (July 24, Tolmin, Slovenia), and Dark Echoes Fest in Madrid on September 25, where TODOMAL will share the stage with DRACONIAN and DØDHEIMSGARD.
