Hellenic black metal quartet YOTH IRIA have unveiled a video for "Blessed Be He Who Enters," the latest single from their forthcoming third album Gone With The Devil, due May 8 via Metal Blade Records.

Building on the 2021 debut As The Flame Withers and the hypnotic Blazing Inferno (2024), the Attica band describe Gone With The Devil as a deliberate expansion into sinister new territory: "We kept the immediacy of Blazing Inferno, the psychedelia of As The Flame Withers, and all the characteristics people expect from Hellenic black metal, while adding fresh sounds and atmospheres never before heard from YOTH IRIA."

Predominantly stately tempos give the dark riffs, memorable melodies and flamboyant leads room to breathe — so that the blastbeats, when they arrive, devastate all the more utterly. Flecks of Mediterranean folk and gothic cadences further expand the sonic palette, with melodies so atavistically simple they could be a thousand years old.

On the single's themes, the band states: "These lyrics stand for pride and strength in adversity, seeking freedom and higher knowledge. They defy all forms of tyranny — within families, relationships, schools, or any oppressive place. They speak for those who refuse to bow and walk with fire in their spirit."

Gone With The Devil positions YOTH IRIA as a hungry contender for extreme metal's big leagues — an ever-improving unit with a glorious future.
