Finnish metal titans AMORPHIS have announced the "Borderland Tour 2027" — a massive European headline run spanning 19 dates across 10 countries from January 22 through February 14, 2027. The trek supports their fifteenth studio album "Borderland" (September 2025), the band's first collaboration with Danish producer Jacob Hansen. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 15, 2026 at 10:00 CEST via Amorphis.net.
Direct support comes from Finnish doom/death metal veterans INSOMNIUM and dark metal outfit UNTO OTHERS — an essential package for fans of Nordic metal.
Guitarist Esa Holopainen: "When writing began, there wasn't a master plan. We had 24 demos, and Jacob helped pick the most vital ones." Vocalist Tomi Joutsen described "Borderland" as "the most demanding AMORPHIS album I've recorded in terms of work hours." Guitarist Tomi Koivusaari: "After 35 years, we follow our instincts.
