American metalcore act BEARTOOTH have announced their sixth studio album, "Pure Ecstasy," due August 28, 2026 via Fearless Records — the band's first release with the label. A music video for the title track, directed by Zebulon Griffin, is now available.
Frontman Caleb Shomo described the album opener as key to setting the tone: "Song one is always crucial to an album. It's gotta lock you into the vibe out of the gate." The title track was first conceived with producer Misha Mansoor (PERIPHERY) before being expanded with Jordan Fish, known for his long-running work with BRING ME THE HORIZON, who also handled production on the full album.
In a first for the band, drummer Connor Denis recorded drums across the entire record at NRG Recording Studios, rather than Shomo handling all instruments himself as has been his tradition. Additional songwriting contributions came from Skyler Accord.
The 11-track "Pure Ecstasy" tracklist: "Pure Ecstasy," "Eyes Closed," "Bullshit," "Beautiful Again," "Stadiums," "Free," "Sorry," "Lose You To Find Me," "You," "For Me By Me," "Made It."
