Guitarist Zakk Wylde has announced the 2026 edition of BERZERKUS, his annual heavy metal festival event. This year's lineup is headlined by LAMB OF GOD, with BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, DOWN, and SUICIDAL TENDENCIES rounding out the top tier of a stacked bill.
The festival spans two dates and locations: August 28 at Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and August 29 at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York. Additional acts include ZAKK SABBATH — Wylde's BLACK SABBATH tribute project — DARK CHAPEL, FAN HALEN, BONFIRE, and USE YOUR ILLUSION (Scranton only).
Beyond the music, BERZERKUS 2026 promises the festival's signature carnival atmosphere, including a car show, a "Ride For Dime" celebration honouring the late PANTERA guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, a strongman competition, a hot sauce eating challenge, and a battle of the bands in Scranton.
General ticket sales went on sale today. The Scranton show notably marks the return of Phil Anselmo's DOWN to a major festival setting, while LAMB OF GOD's headlining slot confirms the Richmond, Virginia titans' continued status as the defining heavy metal band of their generation.
BERZERKUS has grown steadily since its first edition, becoming one of the premier destination events on the American heavy metal festival calendar each August.
