DRACONIAN have released "Anima" (feat. Daniel Änghede), the third and final single ahead of their new album In Somnolent Ruin, out May 8, 2026 on Napalm Records. Written around a 2019 poem by Ander Jacobsson, the track explores Jungian duality and the embrace of one's own darkness. Guest vocalist Daniel Änghede trades lines with returning singer Lisa Johansson — whose comeback is one of the album's defining stories.
In Somnolent Ruin arrives six years after Under a Godless Veil and is the first DRACONIAN record with Daniel Arvidsson on bass, having switched from guitar in 2022. The lineup also features guitarist Niklas Nord and drummer Daniel Johansson, who became a full member in 2025 following Jerry Torstennson's departure.
