Canadian progressive death metal/deathcore outfit EATEN BY SHARKS will release their new single “Capsized” on May 30, 2026 — the first preview of their forthcoming full-length The Undertow Of Hate, due July 17 via CDN Records.
The album develops the sound of their 2022 record Eradication, pushing toward a more cinematic and composition-driven approach. The concept orbits nautical horror and psychological collapse: “Capsized” captures calm waters giving way to total chaos, built on polyrhythmic riffing, odd time signatures, and crushing grooves.
The band states: “We took time to fully immerse ourselves in the writing process and build a cohesive concept rooted in a single cinematic moment of horror. This album reflects a deeper understanding of who we are as artists.”
