GENE SIMMONS has announced "Legends Of Rock Expo," a three-day rock and metal fan convention at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, running September 25-27, 2026. The event will feature concerts, autograph sessions, photo opportunities, panels, and direct access to some of hard rock and metal's most iconic names. The confirmed roster is an extraordinary gathering of heavy music royalty: GEEZER BUTLER (BLACK SABBATH), LITA FORD, GRAHAM BONNET (RAINBOW, ALCATRAZZ), DAVID ELLEFSON (MEGADETH), STEPHEN PEARCY (RATT), BRUCE KULICK (KISS), CARMINE APPICE, VINNY APPICE, JOHN MOYER (DISTURBED), ERIC SINGER and TOMMY THAYER (KISS).
SIMMONS, who serves as the marquee headliner, described the loose atmosphere of his recent performances: "It's loose, spontaneous, and back to basics...I've brought fans to join us onstage." As a 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and 2025 Kennedy Center Honors recipient, SIMMONS remains one of rock's most recognizable figures.
Promoter David Heynen of Fanboy Expo called the expo "an opportunity for everyone to rub elbows with musicians from their favorite rock bands."
For metal fans, the presence of GEEZER BUTLER — bassist and primary lyricist of BLACK SABBATH — is a particular highlight. BUTLER has rarely participated in fan conventions of this scale, making his inclusion one of the event's most significant draws.
