GODSMACK have officially unveiled their new lineup, headlining the 2026 MMRBQ festival at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey on May 9 with two new members: guitarist Sam Koltun and drummer Wade Murff.
Koltun previously toured with the band in early 2025. Frontman Sully Erna praised his contribution: "His attention to detail, his performance, his playing really elevated the frontline. It sounds identical to what the previous guy was doing while bringing his own little flair."
Murff is a Los Angeles-based drummer who began playing at age four, previously working with Daughtry, Prong, Sebastian Bach, Orgy, and Doyle. He cites John Bonham of LED ZEPPELIN and Dave Lombardo of SLAYER as his primary inspirations.
The band retains founding members Erna on vocals and guitar, and bassist Robbie Merrill. This was GODSMACK's second show with the new lineup following their May 8 debut at Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach. Fan-filmed footage of the full MMRBQ set is available on YouTube.
The new GODSMACK lineup appears to be firing on all cylinders as the band plots its next chapter with fresh blood.
