Danish metallers GRADIENCE have released the video for their new single, "Deathwish." Guitarist/vocalist Jakob Lærke Harris describes the track as "our homage to the MySpace-era songs from bands we grew up listening to like Killswitch Engage, Job For A Cowboy and The Black Dahlia Murder — but with our signature rap and melodic twist."
The Copenhagen-based duo formed in 2022 when Harris and vocalist Gavin Mistry connected at a local show for deathcore act Cabal. Their sound — dubbed "blackened rap metal" — fuses apocalyptic death metal, glacial synths and dark urban trap-rap with disarmingly intimate vocal lines. More announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
