HULDER has announced Verbolgen, their new album due August 7, 2026 via 20 Buck Spin (North America) and Season of Mist (worldwide). The nine-track, 48-minute record marks a structural shift as Necreon joins as full creative partner alongside the band's founder. Drawing on Scandinavian black metal traditions, Verbolgen expands HULDER's sound with hurdy gurdy, acoustic instrumentation, and session flute, while lyrics span English, Flemish, and Proto-Germanic — all circling themes of ancestral memory and ancient ritual. Contributing musicians include Keld (hurdy gurdy, guitars, keys), Vapula (drums), and members of Vrolok, Aeternus, and Gorgoroth.
