The 20-song setlist was a masterclass in guitar showmanship, blending JOHN 5's own original compositions with an eclectic selection of covers. Highlights from the setlist included a version of Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," the Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams" reworked in his inimitable style, and a medley honouring MÖTLEY CRÜE — the band he joined in 2022 as replacement for founding guitarist Mick Mars.
JOHN 5's career as a collaborator reads like a who's who of rock royalty: prior to MÖTLEY CRÜE, he served as lead guitarist for ROB ZOMBIE for nearly two decades, and also worked with MARILYN MANSON, DAVID LEE ROTH, and LYNYRD SKYNYRD.
