KISS are back in the studio. Gene Simmons confirmed during an interview with KISSbySienna that the legendary band has recorded a new song written by Paul Stanley — the first new KISS original material in over a decade.

"KISS is in the studio now. So we just recorded a new song...that Paul wrote," Simmons stated, adding that further details about the project cannot yet be disclosed.

The new track would be the band's first original material since their 2012 album "Monster." KISS concluded their iconic farewell End of the Road tour in November 2023, capping off a career spanning more than five decades. However, the band has been developing an avatar-based KISS experience planned to debut in Las Vegas in 2028 through Pophouse Entertainment — and the new studio material appears to be connected to this ambitious project.

Stanley previously hinted at the creative direction: "I think we'd probably go for something that's classic, but everything has to have a beat." The new song reportedly reflects that classic KISS sound with contemporary production values.

In November 2025, KISS performed unmasked electric concerts at their "KISS Kruise: Landlocked In Vegas" event, demonstrating that the End of the Road farewell tour was not the final chapter. What form the new music will ultimately take — tied to the Las Vegas avatar show or released separately — remains unknown. Either way, new KISS music is a reality.
