German thrash metal titans KREATOR delivered a blistering performance at the 2026 Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, Florida, on May 8, playing an intimate Kerrang! Pit set as part of the British magazine's flagship live series.
The set, filmed by K Train Productions and available on YouTube, captured KREATOR in an up-close, high-energy environment alongside their most devoted fans — a completely different beast from a main stage performance. The Kerrang! Pit series is renowned for placing bands in direct contact with their audience, generating electricity that arena stages can rarely replicate.
KREATOR are currently in the midst of their North American "Krushers Of The World" tour, which runs through May 23 with a closing date in Huntington, New York. The run supports their sixteenth studio album of the same name, released January 16, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Produced by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden — a facility with a long track record in extreme metal production — the album features striking cover artwork by Polish visual artist Zbigniew Bielak. Prior to the North American dates, KREATOR completed a massive European tour spanning 20 countries alongside CARCASS, EXODUS, and NAILS.
