Ex-NAPALM DEATH Guitarist MITCH HARRIS Launches TOURFLIP Booking Platform

MITCH HARRIS, longtime guitarist of grindcore legends NAPALM DEATH, has unveiled TOURFLIP — a crowdfunded marketplace built to tackle the broken economics of touring for independent bands.

The platform creates direct connections between bands and promoters worldwide, stripping out costly middlemen. Bands receive booking offers without agents claiming their standard cuts, while fans who buy tickets directly sidestep service fees. HARRIS identified the fundamental problem bluntly: "Streaming killed album income. Bands take home maybe 20 percent."

TOURFLIP extends beyond simple booking — bands can sell merchandise and services directly to their fan communities through the platform. A built-in social feed enables fan engagement and allows users to earn compensation for promotional work, including $15 per hour for street team activities.

HARRIS emphasized that the live music industry's infrastructure problems have long been overlooked: "Investors don't care. Labels don't care. They never have." The platform's crowdfunding campaign offers early backers permanent Founding Supporter badges and six-month premium access for contributions exceeding $100.

TOURFLIP is slated for launch in summer 2026. HARRIS has had a complex journey with NAPALM DEATH — he joined the band in 1989 and debuted on the landmark album "Harmony Corruption", took a hiatus in 2014, and has since also performed with grindcore outfit EARTHBURNER.

NAPALM DEATH remain one of the most influential extreme metal acts of all time, credited with pioneering grindcore and defining the genre's relentlessly brutal aesthetic across nearly four decades.
