Sharon and Jack Osbourne unveiled a life-sized A.I. avatar of OZZY OSBOURNE at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas on May 20, announcing that the digital Prince of Darkness will soon interact with fans around the world.

The avatar was created through a partnership between Hyperreal — the digital human technology company behind the patented Digital DNA process — and Proto Hologram. It will appear in Proto Luma units: life-size, 86-inch volumetric holoportation displays capable of real-time conversation through spatial computing A.I. The U.K. and U.S. rollout begins late summer 2026.

"You can ask Ozzy anything, and he will answer you in his own voice — and the answers will be what Ozzy would have said," Sharon said. "We're going to take it all around the world. People can talk to him and he will talk back."

Hyperreal CEO Remington Scott emphasised that every element of the avatar was sourced exclusively from authenticated material provided by the Osbourne family. "This is a living performance, not a rendering," he said. "We have the enthusiastic participation of Ozzy's family, and that changes everything about what this can be."

OZZY OSBOURNE, legendary vocalist of BLACK SABBATH and one of the most iconic figures in heavy metal history, passed away on July 22, 2025 at age 76 following a heart attack. His final performance came alongside the original BLACK SABBATH lineup — Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward — at the "Back To The Beginning" charity concert in Birmingham. Ozzfest will return as a two-day event in 2027.
