Chicago death metal quintet REPENTANCE have announced their third studio album, Retaliate, due July 17, 2026 via Noble Demon. Along with the announcement, the band have shared the bludgeoning title track — a statement of intent that frontman Adam Gilley describes as having "that take-no-prisoners intensity and hooks. So tune in and turn that sh*t up!!!!"
Retaliate was recorded once again with producer Alex Lackner at Accelerated Sound and mixed by Ari Mihalopoulos at Inner Light Studio — the same team responsible for the band's previous acclaimed output. The ten-track album promises to push the band's sound further into aggressive territory.

Formed in 2018 by guitarist Shaun Glass, REPENTANCE have built a formidable reputation on the road, sharing stages with TRIVIUM, DEVILDRIVER, and JINJER. Their 2023 sophomore album featured guest appearances from TRIVIUM's Corey Beaulieu and FEAR FACTORY's Milo Silvestro, cementing their place among the elite of the current U.S. death metal scene.
