Christian metal veterans STRYPER have released "I'm Alright (I'm Okay)," the first single from their upcoming full-length album via Frontiers Music Srl. The track finds the Californian outfit operating in prime form — urgent, melodic, and punching with the kind of conviction that has defined their four-decade career.

Frontman Michael Sweet offered a vivid description of the song's musical DNA: "This one is for the old-school metalheads. It's a little 1985 mixed with a little 1991, with a little 2026 sprinkled on top." That framing captures the track's appeal precisely — it draws on STRYPER's Yellow & Black Attack-era power and the heavier lean of their early nineties material while sounding unmistakably contemporary.

Lyrically, Sweet frames "I'm Alright (I'm Okay)" as a declaration of endurance: "a battle cry to stand strong and persevere no matter what, while believing that you will be alright, you will be okay." It is an unambiguous statement of faith-driven resilience, which has always been the bedrock of STRYPER's identity.

On the broader album, Sweet described the band's guiding philosophy: "We've somehow figured out a way to merge the past with the present. To combine the classic sound with a bit of a modern twist." It is the kind of balance that STRYPER have been refining since their 2013 comeback, and one that continues to resonate with a devoted fanbase that has stayed loyal across the decades.

The current lineup — Sweet (vocals), Oz Fox (guitar), Robert Sweet (drums), and Perry Richardson (bass) — remains unchanged. The band's most recent album was 2024's "When We Were Kings." Full details on the new record's title and release date have not yet been disclosed.
