French post-hardcore outfit UNTITLED WITH DRUMS have signed to Season of Mist and are celebrating the deal with a new single, "Matter." The track pushes the band's hybrid of alt. rock and '90s post-hardcore to new heights, speaking to the almost irrepressible human need to exist for oneself — a satirical take on the pathologically self-centered point of view and the reflexive pursuit of dominance over others.
Formed in 2014, UNTITLED WITH DRUMS released their debut album Hollow in 2020, just days before France's first COVID lockdown. Despite the catastrophic timing, the record drew widespread critical praise and launched the band onto prestigious stages: Hellfest 2022, the Nuits de Fourvière festival (opening for DEFTONES and BARONESS), and London's Desertfest. The band has since consolidated around their current four-piece lineup, sharpening everything that makes them distinct ahead of this next chapter.
