ZP THEART, the South African vocalist best known as the founding frontman of DRAGONFORCE and former singer of SKID ROW, has released the official music video for his solo single "Electric Beings," recorded in collaboration with Swiss producer and multi-instrumentalist Syndrone.
The track blends Theart's signature speed metal roots with a modern, cinematic, cyber-influenced aesthetic — a significant departure from the blistering power metal he made famous with DRAGONFORCE. "Step by step, we are building something truly special for 2026. Working with Syndrone has opened a door to a sound I've wanted to explore for a long time," Theart said of the collaboration.
"Electric Beings" follows Theart's debut solo album "Dark To Light" and a celebrated 20th-anniversary reimagining of DRAGONFORCE's iconic "Through The Fire And Flames." The new single is now streaming on all major platforms.
Theart co-founded DRAGONFORCE and was the voice behind their platinum-selling hit "Through The Fire And Flames," which reached global audiences through its inclusion in Guitar Hero III. He departed the band in 2010, later stepping in as SKID ROW's vocalist from 2016 until his dismissal in February 2022.
The music video for "Electric Beings" showcases Theart's continued artistic evolution as he builds his solo identity outside of the bands that made him famous.
