Danish metallers GRADIENCE have announced their debut full-length Anomaly, due September 4, 2026 via Metal Blade Records. The album is available to pre-order now on CD, LP and digital formats. Watch the video for lead single "White Noise":
GRADIENCE are the brainchild of guitarist Jakob Lærke Harris and vocalist Gavin Mistry, who connected at a 2022 Copenhagen show by local deathcore heroes CABAL. Despite contrasting backgrounds — Harris a visual artist and musician in "a popcore band," Mistry a veteran of "different hip-hop constellations" — the two found immediate creative common ground. The result is a debut that thrillingly pulverizes the boundary between apocalyptic, sludgy blackened death metal and dark urban trap-rap, laced with disarmingly emotive vocal lines, glacial synths and hypnotic sonic detail.
