HAKEN Release 'Bleeding Sky' Single and Announce European Headline Tour for September–October 2026

British progressive metal stalwarts HAKEN have shared their new single "Bleeding Sky" — their second new track in three years, following "In A Fever Dream" from May 2026 — and simultaneously announced a major European headline tour running September through October 2026.

The track was co-produced and mixed by George Lever, known for his work with LOATHE and SLEEP TOKEN, and features a notable guest contribution: Adam "Nolly" Getgood, former bassist of PERIPHERY, takes on bass duties for the recording. A visualizer created by Oliver Kember accompanies the release.

The band expressed clear excitement about returning to the stage: "We're really excited to bring this music to the stage. We've been putting together a brand new show," they stated, teasing a fresh live production to accompany the new material.

The European tour encompasses 17 dates across the continent:

September: Barcelona, Aarau (Switzerland), Paris, Cologne, Munich, Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Milan, Rome, Berlin, Warsaw

October: Tampere, Turku, Helsinki, Oslo, Copenhagen

The announcement comes several months after a significant lineup change: in January 2026, HAKEN parted ways with guitarist Charlie Griffiths and bassist Conner Green — founding-era members who had been with the band since 2008 and 2014 respectively. The departure raised questions about the band's future direction, questions that "Bleeding Sky" and its accompanying tour appear to answer emphatically.

"Nolly" Getgood's involvement as a session collaborator brings serious pedigree: as PERIPHERY's former bassist and the brain behind the acclaimed Nolly Audio plugin line, he is one of the most respected figures in modern progressive and djent production.

HAKEN have been one of the defining progressive metal acts of the past two decades, earning a devoted global following through albums like Visions, The Mountain, Affinity, and Fauna. The new material suggests the reconstituted lineup is not backing down from the band's signature complexity and ambition.
