HELLOWEEN drummer DANIEL "DANI" LÖBLE has shared a drum-cam video capturing the power metal giants' performance of "We Burn" at HELLFEST in Clisson, France on June 19. The footage offers a behind-the-kit view of one of the festival's standout daytime sets, played beneath a blazing French sun.
Löble described the experience as something special. "One of those magical festival moments… surrounded by an incredible crowd of around 50,000–60,000 metal fans, with the French sun adding some extra heat," he wrote, conveying the scale and intensity of the band's HELLFEST appearance. For a band that has spent nearly four decades defining the melodic, harmony-soaked sound of European power metal, commanding a crowd that size in broad daylight is a testament to their enduring pull.
The drum-cam clip arrives as HELLOWEEN continue to tour in support of their latest studio album, "Giants & Monsters," released in August 2025. The record was mixed at Wisseloord Studios and produced by Charlie Bauerfeind and Dennis Ward, with Löble tracking his parts on three different drum kits to capture the right tones across the album's dynamic range.
Swiss-born Löble has been HELLOWEEN's drummer since 2005, anchoring the band through one of the most celebrated chapters of its long history — including the "Pumpkins United" reunion that brought former members Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen back into the fold alongside the current lineup. The drummer is known for his disciplined, fitness-focused approach to live performance, maintaining daily practice routines to stay in peak shape for the band's physically demanding sets.
HELLOWEEN's recent run of live activity also produced "Live At Budokan," a concert album recorded in Tokyo on September 16, 2023 and released in December 2024. With "Giants & Monsters" still fresh and festival crowds responding in their tens of thousands, the seven-piece show no signs of cooling off. The "We Burn" drum-cam is available now on Löble's social channels.
