Chilean Mapuche metal warriors MAWIZA have released "MÜR," their first new song since the Chilean Grammy-nominated album ÜL. Meaning "Together" in Mapudungun, the track is an unplugged indigenous anthem featuring guest vocalists Mira Ceti (HEILUNG), Anne Olsen (DANEFAE), and Fabi Hidalgo. A lyric video, directed by Jesus Carrillo, is out now via the Season of Mist YouTube channel.

"MÜR" strips away the electric fury MAWIZA became known for — hailed by Metal Hammer as the most important new metal band of 2025 — in favor of voices, kultrún drum, and pifilka flutes. Mira Ceti sings in Occitan, Anne Olsen in Danish, and Fabi Hidalgo joins the Mapudungun chant, each bringing their own ancestral tongue to a song that calls for unity across cultures and generations. The band opened 2026 recording at Joe Duplantier's studio and sharing stages with AVENGED SEVENFOLD and MR. BUNGLE; they now set their sights on Europe's summer festival circuit.

"In English, MÜR means 'Together'. This song connects with our ancestral values and reminds us the importance of working together across generations." — Awka, vocalist/guitarist

"We wanted this song to not only represent the Mapuche people, but indigenous people all over the world who have lost a part of their culture to colonizers." — Zewü, bassist
