German heavy metal institution SINNER have released "Leave It All Behind," the second single from their forthcoming and final studio album "Boom Bang Goodbye," due July 31, 2026 via Reigning Phoenix Music.

The track opens as a power ballad before building toward an anthemic chorus, threading SINNER's trademark 1980s melodicism through a thick, modern production. Vocalist Ronnie Romero delivers a soaring performance that bandleader Mat Sinner could not praise highly enough. "My friend Ronnie Romero really outdid himself. What an incredible vocal performance," Sinner said.

The bassist framed the song as a deliberate love letter to his roots: "As a child of the '80s, this song fits perfectly into the soundscape I envisioned. '80s vibes and an ultra-fat, modern sound." Lyrically, "Leave It All Behind" dwells on nostalgia and the passage of time — an apt theme for a band drawing the curtain after more than four decades and 19 studio albums.

The accompanying video features guests Thalia Bellazecca and André Hilgers of PRIMAL FEAR, the band Mat Sinner co-founded and has led alongside SINNER for years. It follows opening single "Wait," which featured Michael Bormann.

"Boom Bang Goodbye" plays out as a star-studded send-off. The core lineup of Romero, Sinner, guitarist Alex Scholpp, keyboardist Lisa Müller and drummer Moritz Müller is joined by a deep guest roster including Michael Sadler (SAGA), Björn Strid (SOILWORK), Erik Mårtensson (ECLIPSE), guitarist Magnus Karlsson and early SINNER guitarist Mathias Dieth. Jacob Hansen mixed and mastered the album at his Hansen Studios in Denmark.

After countless tours and four decades as cornerstones of the European metal scene, Mat Sinner and company are preparing their definitive farewell statement.
