Industrial metal act COMBICHRIST has released its new studio album, "The Venom In The Mouth Of God," via Out Of Line Music, arriving as a 13-track collection available on digipak CD, a multicolor "Yolk Splatter" 2LP, a picture-disc 2LP and digital formats.
The album opens with the dense, mechanized one-two punch of "ODR" and "Born Deströyer" before shifting into more introspective territory on tracks like "Each Scar A Vision" and "The Way We Want To Be Seen," rounding out a tracklist that also folds in the band's previously released singles "Desolation," "RISE," "Feraline" and "Only Here For A Good Time." The record's most notable guest spot comes on "Demons Wanna Be Summoned," which features Michigan metal outfit KING 810.
Founded by Andy LaPlegua in 2003, COMBICHRIST has spent more than two decades pairing aggressive, dancefloor-ready electronics with metal's heavier textures, building a catalog that has made the band one of industrial metal's most consistent live draws. "The Venom In The Mouth Of God" continues that formula while pushing further into the record's darker, more atmospheric passages, giving longtime fans both the caustic energy the band is known for and a handful of slower-building tracks that broaden its usual dynamic range.
COMBICHRIST wasted no time putting the album on the road, with festival dates already lined up at Alcatraz Open Air in Kortrijk, Belgium on August 7 and M'era Luna in Hildesheim, Germany on August 8. Beyond the festival run, the band has confirmed a full North American "The Venom In The Mouth Of God" tour along with a European "Electro Combichristmas Tour 2026" later in the year, giving the new record an extended touring cycle on both sides of the Atlantic.
With its ninth studio album now out in the world, COMBICHRIST shows no sign of easing off the relentless release-and-tour pace that has defined the project since LaPlegua first launched it as an offshoot of his earlier band ICON OF COIL, cementing "The Venom In The Mouth Of God" as another entry in a catalog built almost entirely around the road.
